Hi there, I decided also to write English section for this blog, at least in the beginning if there is people who would be interested :)
I'm studying business in Finland and I'm currently in my third year in studies. Now I'm heading to my mandatory exchange to Seoul, South-Korea for 4,5 months. My trip starts from the end of February and lasts until mid July. Basically I'm going to a country where I don't know anyone and I don't speak the local language. My country knowledge about Korea is based on international/foreign blogs, Korean television shows and movies, but its "a bit" lacking :D Fortunately the school where I'll be studying has more than 80 exchange students each year, so I'll have some safety-net in the other side of the world.
Now that there is less than a month to go, I've got most of the important arrangements done. For me its already an achievement since I tend to forget stuff. A lot. I got my visa, plane tickets and I successfully confirmed myself to courses, so I will actually get some study credits! Everything has been going quite smoothly, excluding the course registration in a site that had no word in English and few mistakes in visa application procedure. Now I'm almost good to go, so I can breath at least a bit normally. Maybe I will survive? Maybe all the years liking Asian cultures will pay off and I wont make a fool out of myself? Maybe...?
Anyhow, I will try to update as frequently as I can. I promise! You can comment and ask if there is anything you would like to know or correct :D
